Actually, it was the other way around (after this fact is stated, the joke becomes less funny)
You party pooper know it all!
But I laughed before I saw your comment, hahaha!
My daughter was very exiectd to get The Adventure Time, Peanuts, and Spongebob comics. She seemed shocked that the teller would just hand them to her without Dad paying anything. In last month’s issue you had the 5 year anniversary of Stan Winston’s death and listed him as the creator of the Iron Man costume from the films. That’s true and when I got an early preview of the costume design he (and his team) were so very exiectd. But that is far from the only comic related contribution that Stan Winston did. I know the space is limited but I thought I’d like to point that out. I was lucky enough to work with Mr. Winston on a film adaptation of my comic book series Family Bones, which sadly died when he did. But I did get a special opportunity to experience such an amazing talent and see many of the magic first hand.Stan Winston was a definitely a fan of comic books and had a wonderful studio filled with all his loves, including comic books. His Claw series which he’d been working on for a long, long time was made into a comic book in 2006. I believe that was his original intent and he had hoped to create more comics and films based on his stories. Sadly, that also was just getting started when he passed. I was so exiectd when the Claw action figures came out and hoped to see them moving live on TV soon after. He also came out with the Mutant Chronicles that will be collected in Trakk: Monster Hunter this summer. He was finally living his dream of creating comics. It would have been nice if he had more time to complete his dreams.I am sure that you meant no slight, because the Iron Man costume is great. But for anyone who didn’t know, the man who turned Arnold into the Terminator, created the Alien mother, designed the Predators, and so many other awesome film creatures was really a big comic book fan himself and hoped to finally get a chance to create them himself. I recommend Realm of the Claw to anyone who is interested.Shawn Granger

Actually, I suspect they’re both comic nerds. In the dekrar of the two speech bubbles is actually Lila. (Hrm, forgot those were the original colors I used. Oh well, someday when I do a book I’ll make them all consistent ) But Lila’s capable of seeing them as stories and Marin sees them as people. Lila would have to be suffering from some serious stress/pms/alcohol/etc. to cry at the events in a comic. Marin would just have to be awake.
Now you ruined it for everyone!
